   This part was very easy to install thanks to the video from TM parts. I’d give it 5 stars if it was more durable m, but I understand why it’s designed to break away so the TM doesn’t get damaged.

    I ordered the Ultrex/Fortrex replacement latch pin. If you have one break and you don’t have a spare with you you can use the Velcro travel strap to hold it in the deployed position to keep fishing for the day. If you have never broken one yet I would get one ordered to keep in the boat because it will happen eventually. Very reasonably priced and a perfect fit. So reasonably priced that I ordered a few so I have a spare in the boat at all times. I have also purchased a bushing kit for a Fortrex. They have great instructional videos on parts replacement too. Great service and fast shipping. Trollingmotorparts.com will remain my go to for future parts.
