   I ordered the Ultrex/Fortrex replacement latch pin. If you have one break and you don’t have a spare with you you can use the Velcro travel strap to hold it in the deployed position to keep fishing for the day. If you have never broken one yet I would get one ordered to keep in the boat because it will happen eventually. Very reasonably priced and a perfect fit. So reasonably priced that I ordered a few so I have a spare in the boat at all times. I have also purchased a bushing kit for a Fortrex. They have great instructional videos on parts replacement too. Great service and fast shipping. Trollingmotorparts.com will remain my go to for future parts.

   Never gave having a spare latch bar in the boat would be such a savior in the event I would need have one available if I run into issues on the water. For the minimal cost this was a no brainer.

   Was having problems getting my trolling motor to sit down and lock. Replaced the lock bar and now sits down perfect. Definitely pleased with the service/shipping from Trollingmotorparts.com .

   After breaking one end of my latch off, I pulled up their video and bought new replacements for me and my buddy! The video shows how to replace it and like I said, it’s as easy as 1 2 3!!

   I haven’t installed it yet. I picked it up as a spare as I’ve heard they snap. Was ordering new props so I figured I will have it in the boat if it happens..
