   Part was an exact fit. My remote had the bar for attaching the lanyard broken off after catching in steering wheel of boat and this fixed the problem. Even had the small instructions sticker already applied to the back. Very pleased.

2. When you don't need the entire remote control

   The lanyard got caught up in my boat steering wheel, and when I stood up, the part of the housing that attaches to the lanyard broke off. I tried to use the remote without a lanyard, but it was awkward. I was surprised to find I could get the housing assembly only and the price was right. My problem was solved.
