1. absolutely the part needed.

   There are limited videos or instructions on how to replace these steering cables but if you have no direction look at Motorguide diagrams and take pictures of your trolling motor foot control and TM head for comparisons. They will help. The part arrived on time. Though I had very little interaction with an online sale, I will use this outlet again, if needed.

   I had been noticing my trolling motor didn't seem to be responding to the foot pedal movement as it had been. A subsequent examination showed that one of the cables had begun to fray. These cables are a direct replacement, and the steering is back to normal.

   We haven’t installed them yet. We were able to repair the end of the cable and reinstall it. So far, so good. We just figured out that the tension screw can’t be over-tightened.

   I got my cables in a few days and they are just as expected. Easy to install with a little fenagling and working perfectly.
