   Easy install. 20 minutes tops. Bought a boat with an Xi3 on it and it took me a while to figure out why the satellite light wasn't lighting up...well that's because it had no GPS unit in it! Have since networked this to my Lowrance graph...easy peezy.

   Installed GPS harness,and GPS light came on. Fixed the problem. I'm happy. Easy to do yourself.

   gps module was a perfect fit. Thanks to the guys at "trolling motor parts" for the great video on step by step on replacing the modiule. And the symptoms of a bad gps module. And fast shipping. Back on the water !!!

9. pinpoint gps

   I purchased this as the part to upgrade my XI3 kayak motor. I saved $90 by purchasing the part only and not the kit (I could do this because I also have an XI5 with pinpoint GPS on my center console and it's remote will control either GPS motor}.
   Otherwise you will need the kit which includes the remote as well as the pinpoint gps.
   It would be nice if the part included the mounting screws, that's my only negative about the purchase.

    My anchor lock and heading lock had a mind of it's own. Put new motor guide pinpoint GPS module in and now I have control again. Anchor works great. Fast service from Trolling Motor Parts.com. thanks guys.
