My newer brute that replaced my older one came with that rubbery type plastic that degraded over time and became gummy and tacky. Ordered 3 replacement 3 prongs. Somehow the material is better with these as opposed to the round knobs if your trolling motor has those gummy rounded knobs these are the replacements
