Motor Guide 36" Aluminum Shaft (Foot Control)

I had bought a trolling motor with a 42 inch shaft from a friend. My small boat needed a 36 inch shaft so I bought a 36 inch shaft traded them out also i bought a 13 inch outer tube but I did not use it. I just cut the one that I had off so I wouldn't have to drill the rivets out. The only thing I think the manufacturer could've done better or slip a note in the box, stating that most Trolling Motor shafts are sealed with red Loctite and will take heat to get them off. I had watched a bunch of YouTube videos only one that I seen talked about hating the red Loctite to get the motor and gear off. Other than that the exchange was fast a good price a good product..
