   Trollingmotorparts.com has been the best place to get parts for my Minn Kota Ultrex (which has had many failures). This is the third steering sensor board that has been in the motor/foot control. Good thing tmp has this stuff at good prices and ships in a timely manner.

   Lots of rain caused the original to go out. MinnKota should've known. Some people say this was a recall. MK says no. Had two buddies with the same problem. They went to an authorized repair shop and claim the paid nothing for the part just 50 bucks for installation. Who knows.

7. Out with the old, In with the New!

   After doing all of the checks found on forums and YouTube videos I was able to deduce that my sensor board was the culprit to my MinnKota steering issues.
   Watched the instructional video produced by TMP and in less than an hour was back in business.
   Outstanding transaction and speed of delivery.

8. Ultrex steering problems

   On my las fishing trip, when I deployed my Ultrex and when I powered it up, it immediately turned to the right and I couldn’t get the foot pedal to respond. I could shut the power off and manually turn the heade of the motor back to the course I wanted to go, but as soon as I powered it back up, it would turn hard right. I ordered a new steering sensor board from Trolling Motors Parts. It arrived very quickly and fixed my steering issue.

   Even though my “original” sensor was sealed v 1.0 , this later version installed easily and returned my motor to normal operation. Installation video was helpful as well.

    Had trouble turning my trolling motor right and or left Did research and contacted as to the part. Video was such a big help installing part. Fast shipping and excellent service.
