DIRECT REPLACEMENT FOR:
MINN KOTA ULTREX POWER SWITCH (PART# 2044022)
The Sealed Ultrex Power Switch Upgrade Kit eliminates common issues
the original switch had with loose connections and water damage.
The kit includes two wires with soldered connections to the switch terminals
along with two ScotchLok Sealed Connectors to provide a secure connection.
The sealed block on the bottom keeps the switch safe from the elements for years to come.

Why would they noy build it sealed??? your not fishing on land!!!! Very easy install, Little Leary on the scotch locks, but not a problem if they fail, i have a soldering gun.

Video was great, but what I found to be easier and more effective was to remove the back plate and do the install. Great product and it works perfect.

The part was correct, and the instructions were very detailed. The do's and don'ts were accurate. The part did not fit as tightly as the original, but I am not concerned.

The part was better than expected as well as better than the original one. I had only 1 problem with the new on off switch. The wires that were on the new switch were very long, the wires on the old switch were very short. I lost one so I had to remove the back plate. Seeing how easy it was to remove the back plate it would have been easier just to remove it and make the connection there.
