I recently had my first problem with an Ultrex I purchased is 2018. Steering cable broke and after a lot of homework decided to replace the entire foot peddle assembly, steering cables and electrical connection. Found this unit here, installed it in under an hour and am back in action with the comfort of knowing everything I knew and one less thing to think about. The head unit on my trolling motor is still very quiet and I feel I saved a lot of money not having to replace the entire trolling motor this way. Money well spent and saved in my opinion!
