Better than expected

My old remote and control board quit working this year. Was looking at buying a new motor, but the price was a deterrent. Found this site and saw I could upgrade my old motor into the newest version for a fraction of the cost. After installing everything, I can say it works way better than what I was expecting!

Upgrade kit

The kit itself is a easy install especially after watching the video. I live on a river and all of my fishing is on it. The current is rapid at times and I was hoping that the drift mode would help with this. I used to drag a chain from the bow to hold the boat inline and control the speed while drifting backwards. So far the drift mode does not seem to be the answer for that, however the autopilot works very well. There is a learning curve, but I am getting the hang of it. After using this trolling motor I will never go back to dragging a chain.
