First off this is the second time my 12' Talon broke a cable first time sent it back to the factory, sloppy job, they were missing parts I had to reorder according to the diagrams, lasted about a half a dozen uses and bang! It was down again, so decided to do it myself, this cable kit works good, if you want to take this on, but found out it's only 304 stainless cable and I could buy 316 stainless in a 100fl foot roll and make up my own lengths with stops, for about $25 a roll, 304ss is rated about 380lbs, 316ss is rated at 450lb, from what I found out. These Talons are complicated, the kit works well, use the parts diagrams to make sure your peices are correct. Next breakdown the 316ss goes in.

Fast service and cheap shipping. Do yourself the favor, if you have come this far, buy 2 sets. Likely to ruin the first one and if not, you’ll learn a lot in the putting it on. If your first attempt survived, you’ll learn enough that if you ever need it again you’ll have it. My 3rd set will be ordered soon for that reason.

Cables worked great! Be sure to stretch them out straight as you install them or they will twist and kink and be no good. Ask me how I know? Second set went in flawlessly.
