Simple and worthwhile upgrade for 12V PowerDrive v2

This review is for the Minn Kota Powerdrive 12V to 24V conversion kit, i-Pilot:
My Minn Kota PowerDrive v2, back before the conversion to 24V, always struggled to hold in current. Any current over 2-3mph was a lost cause. My boat was too large for a 12V trolling motor, I hadn't realized there was a conversion kit until I discovered it on trollingmotorparts dot com. The whole conversion takes under 25 minutes, and it's very easy, even though it may seem daunting. I would encourage anyone feeling underpowered at 12V to convert to 24V. A new 24V trolling motor easily costs over $2k. This conversion kit is just a fraction of the cost. It was a no-brainer to bump up to 24V. I replaced my 12V trolling motor battery with a 24V 100Ah lithium battery, runs my 24V-converted PowerDrive v2 for 2 full days of fishing before needing a recharge.
