The Minn Kota Old Style Control Box Base (2262535)
was discontinued. (see pictures for details)
If your motor has the Old Style Base,
This Kit will convert your Trolling Motor to the New Style Control Box.
Kit Utilizes all of your old internal gears and brackets.
Kit Includes:
1 - New Style Control Box Base
1 - New Style Control Box Top Cover
6 - Top Cover Screws
For Use With:
- Minn Kota All Terrain foot control models
- Minn Kota Edge foot control models (2011 and Older)
- Minn Kota Maxxum foot control models (2010 and Older)

When searching far and wide for the original Edge 55 control box, I sent an email if the upgrade kit would actually replace the original! The reply was that it would ! So, I ordered it and they zoomed it right on in here! It worked, trolling motor worked, IT’S DONE ! Now just have to see if it holds up! One thing I did notice during the year-down was that “ there was not any grease on the internal parts or bearings”! Could have been the cause of the wreck???
