I bought a new boat that came with a standard Minn Kota Powerdrive. I wanted to get the Spotlock feature in a motor but could not afford to buy an new motor what has all of the gadgets. I am not a professional fisherman, just a weekend warrior. This upgrade gave me everything I wanted and all I need for my usage without having to purchase a 3K unit for the same features. And the install, easy as all get-out.
