1. Glad I Accidentally Found This Upgrade

   I accidentally found this little known upgrade that will make your trolling motor better then new. Bigger brushes, metal brush retainers (original is plastic and melts), improved armature, and all new seals. TMP has the best price on the kit. It's a shame that Minn Kota doesn't let their customers know it's available. I wonder how being quiet about it has helped their sales of new trolling motors?

4. Great replacement for bent shaft

   While installing my trollling motor onto my new boat, I dropped it. I cracked the plastic head, so replaced that. Then on the water, noticed a vibration so knew the shaft was bent. Went online, reviewed some videos and found this set. Placed the order, had in 4 days. Took about 30 mins to install. Vibration gone so not scaring the fish away so very happy with the purchase

   My lower unit got some water in it from a damaged seal and the parts were trashed. This kit and a little clean up made it run like new!

    This is a great all in one fix when you’ve been the shaft or have leaking seals or all the above. After a little time with some online videos, I rebuilt my trolling motor on the water! It works great and a whole lot cheaper than buying a replacement!
